In just under 3 minutes Keith Ambatchscheer of the International Integrated Reporting Council explains the main principles and concepts.

The International Integrated Reporting Council (IRRC) now known as the Value Reporting Foundation is the peak worldwide body advocating the global adoption of procedures and principles which leads to the creation and preservation of value.

The five important elements which an organisation needs to have in place to create long term value are:

1.       Organisation mission clarity

2.       Resources so the organisation can execute its mission statement

3.       Understand how the organisation goes about creating value

4.       A measuring and reporting system so performance is known

5.       A strategy so the organisation can move forward

How do the five elements listed above integrate with each other and how does the organisation tell its story.

Social value accounting addresses all these issues. To listen to Keith click Keith Ambatchscheer of the International Integrated Reporting Council
